The "Custom announcement" extension is an info element that can be displayed on product pages or in the checkout.
Status message can be displayed here. The element is suitable, for example, to inform about changed shipping times due to vacation or absence.

Note: The announcement is displayed if it is enabled in the theme configuration (either everywhere, only on product pages or only in the checkout), the "twt.extension.customAnnouncement.content" snippet is filled and – if set – the current date is within the configured start/end period.
Configuration
Theme configuration
Go to the "Extensions" tab
Expand the "Custom announcement (on product pages and in the checkout)" block
Set the configuration "Show custom announcement" to the desired mode ("show", "show (only on product pages)" or "show (only in checkout)")
Save your changes after editing
Edit the text using the following snippet:
twt.extension.customAnnouncement.content
Show custom announcement
Defines where the announcement appears: "show" (everywhere), "show (only on product pages)" or "show (only in checkout)".
Start date / End date
Tab "Extensions" => Block "Custom announcement (on product pages and in the checkout)" => Show custom announcement
Tab "Extensions" => Block "Custom announcement (on product pages and in the checkout)" => Section "Basic configuration" => Start date / End date

Limits the display of the announcement to a period.
